Laser Acupuncture and Innovative Laser Medicine. Chinese textbook by Prof. Gerhard Litscher

The relatively new methodology of laser acupuncture has already produced a comprehensive history. It took almost 50 years to appreciate the value of laser acupuncture. Findings from basic medical research together with clinical research helped to explain the effects of laser acupuncture on a biomedical and clinical basis acceptable to the Western medical establishment. Recently, laser acupuncture can be combined with conventional medicine to take advantage of what photobiomodulation can offer. By studying both Eastern and Western medicine, laser acupuncture can be used as an effective evidence-based complementary medicine method.

The author is honored to publish the first basic text book in Chinese language based on more than 700 scientific articles on the topic. Clear documentation provides a scientific guarantee for the areas of research. Laser therapy has become important for many patients. In this book, the author hopes to contribute to its further dissemination.
